Sumant Sahay Appointed MD, WBTDCL and Director, Tourism

Sumant Sahay, a 2016-batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre, has been appointed as Managing Director, West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation Limited (WBTDCL) and Director, Tourism, Government of West Bengal.

His dual responsibility as MD, WBTDCL and Director, Tourism will enable greater coordination between policy, planning and implementation, with a focus on creating world-class tourism infrastructure and improved visitor experiences.
